Richmond 24 is a new short film from the makers of the award-winning cycling documentary Ripcor:Riding With Mamils. It follows two cyclists as they push their bodies to the limit to become the first people to cycle around Richmond Park for 24 hours - non-stop. Shot over the weekend of the Summer Solstice in June 2016 the film documents this incredible challenge; the blood, the sweat and the tears. The teamwork, laughter and champagne.
The challenge was not only an opportunity to set a unique cycling record. It was also to raise awareness and much needed funds for The PACE Centre, a charity Ripcor have supported for 10 years, that provides an innovative education for life to children with sensory motor disorders.
